Her body swayed as she walked slinking it's way across the ground, she wasn't meant to be here she was unholy, but she was there none the less and she even read the tombstones as she passed them laughing inwardly at how pathetic the human race was. She walked onwards treking through the graveyard, the mist was on the floor like a scene out of a horror film the darkness cloaked her body only her eyes could be seen, those eerie orbs that shone in any kind of darkness almost illuminating it. She watched she saw something move and it came hurtling towards her she turned before she backflipped easily out of the way she landed and put her blade back in it's sheeth. The beast howled and then blood burst from it as she walked forwards, she wasn't stoppable and she wished for the day when someone could acctually force her into submission. She'd be their eternal slave. However she didn't notice the eyes watching her. She didn't feel them but she then caught a whiff of something.
"What the hell is it?" She wasn't sure why she could smell demons when they were around but it was something she'd always been able to do. The dark waves of hair swayed as she turned on the spot she looked around she couldn't see anyone else here but she could smell them a mile away. She crawled on top of a flat tomb stone laying herself on it awaiting the thing to come to her. She licked her lips as she awaited it, she saw a human and she was up in a flash she darted through the mist and before the human could scream her teeth were sunk into their neck, instead the human moaned in response to it and she purred feeling the warm blood cascade into her mouth, she was hungry but found it more appetising to drink human or non-human blood, either one satisfied her hunger most of the time.
She let the body drop to the floor the blood she wiped from her mouth, she hated mess, well mess on her and she watched the blood gush forth from the body as it lay there. Her lips curled into an evil smile as she walked. She made her way back to her perch and awaited again.
"I can smell you so why not come on out?" She asked as she wrapped the trench coat around herself she struck a pose, almost looking like a damsel in distress, she was quite the contrary, she was the reason that children were afraid of the dark, why humans didn't dare go near it, or the reason why some were drawn to it like moths to the flame. She destroyed each and every one of them.
"If you can beat me into submission I will serve you..." She spoke the words she meant them she had already made that vow a long time ago anyone who could beat her immediately got her admiration and respect, also her eternal servitude. However no one had lived up to that, and it was quite litteral in that fact.

Shahal had awoken from another fitful sleep not too long ago and had taken a shower promptly after, the nightmare that had snapped her into consciousness was of her fall, and it had left her in a cold sweat. She thought that she had been alright with falling from grace, but in reality it haunted her, as much as the betrayal that lead to it, of course these sort of things felt the need to play themselves out in her dreams, this one in particular dealt with what might have happened if she had lost that dual, it caused a shiver to run down her spine. That would have been unthinkable, and now that she thought about it Shahal realized that fighting Michael had been a rather big gamble with her soul.
Having gotten dressed, she spiked her hair up and simply slinked around the cathedral for a while, her leather fingerless glove clad hands shoved into the pockets of a pair of tight fitting tartan pants that had been tucked into her beloved combat boots and she had on an old tattered white Sex Pistols tank top with that. Honestly she didn't feel like doing anything tonight, maybe just sulk in her own misery for a good while, it was something that she would do only in private after all, no one needed to know exactly what or how she felt inside.
It sounded like a good idea and Shahal was ready to go through with it when she heard someone slinking around in her back yard, ok so it wasn't exactly a backyard, more like a graveyard, but it was still part of her property and Shahal really didn't take to trespassers kindly she was something like an animal when her territory was invaded, but she could sense a rather strong half demon and because of that Shahal decided to maybe have some fun instead of just sulking around.
Grabbing Shalem and her pistols, Shahal eased herself out the door and walked around to the cemetery, creeping silently through and staying to the shadows the entire time, Shahal fixed her sights on the half demon girl as she moved through her graveyard. Well that was interesting, said girl had some rather vampiric tendencies, not that it bothered her much, Shahal had been around for a long while and had seen more then her fair share of strange things.
Even as she was called to show herself Shahal didn't move, simply because she didn't feel like it, no real other reason for it. But her ears perked at the other girls words and it caused a wicked smirk to spread across her face, stalking out of the shadows Shahal stepped into the other girls line of sight, Shalem slung over her shoulder, "Now what makes you so sure I need your services?" In a cocky tone she asked, that smirk still on her face as she surveyed the other girl, what an interesting proposition she had been handed.

"Now what makes you so sure I need your services?" She heard the voice and then she saw the woman walk through the misty fog.
"Oh your not who I thought you were going to be." She stated as she eyed the woman, she had been expecting someone else, someone different maybe a male but none the less it didn't matter to her. She sat up on the tomb stone.
"Well I'm not sure if you'd need my services at all really, but I could probably use some help with my nightmares and such." She said with a half smile, it was true she was afraid of closing her eyes at night now simply because she had so many different and disturbing images behind them.
"That tower it calls." She stated as she pointed in the general direction of the devils tower, she sighed as she folded her arms.
"Well at least your not just some low life lesser demon who hasn't the faintest idea what their dealing with...." She stated as she slid off of the tomb stone and stood she looked the woman over and she put her hands in her pockets. She yawned as she did so she was tired to say the least.
"It's odd I don't talk to people all that much, I prefer to be either alone or fighting something or someone... Either way I always end up alone." She spoke the words and then started to make her way towards the woman in question.
"So who're you?" She asked this woman looked like she owned the place, that air around her the aura that she gave off, was she a hybrid? She could smell her, it was odd she couldn't quite make out what she was.
"I'm Chloe by the way nice to meet you i guess, I have a hate for the male population, demon or not... I also hate demons and humans just as much as they hate eachother..." She stated again the tone she used was low and dangerous as if warning this woman that if a fight broke out she wouldn't hesitate to attack and try to kill her, then again that was just her bad attitude rearing it's ugly head once again.

Aww, oops, oh well Guess that she just had to deal with Shahal now, granted she didn't really care who the other girl was hoping for, chick was on her property after all. Whatever, some said that Shahal needed to work on her people skills anyways, she disagreed but still, perhaps they were a bit right.
"Nightmares?" Shahal cocked her head to the side, it was slightly intriguing, her nightmares must have been something very odd for her to ask a total stranger about them, and that peeked her interest, that and the fact that Shahal liked to pick peoples minds, dreams, and other such things apart; made her rather good at debating, "Please feel free to elaborate,"
She turned to look at the tower of course it was calling, the tower was made to be both a portal and as something of a beacon to and for demons. Despicable, it was created by humans and still they have favor with God, if angels were to do something like that they'd have their wings ripped from their backs, she clenched the hilt of her sword at the thought but forced herself to relax.
"Trust me dear, I'm far from being a lesser demon," A slight boast that Shahal couldn't help but let herself have, Shahal had bested Gods favorite 'prince' and field commander in a sword fight after all, that was something to be proud of even if it did leave a few scars that would never fade.
She listened and nodded a bit, "Yeah I know the feeling," Shahal had become a very solitary creature as the years past, partially because she felt like an exile and knew she was out of place in the human realm and partially because she spent all her time hunting demons as a sort of therapy and penance.
"I'm the owner of this land, and my name is Shahal," She stated. The girl was a half demon, she had caught that right off the bat, and Shahal knew that the other girl could sense her mixed blood, but she wasn't about to explain that bit of her life to someone she had just met.
It was all that she could do to stop from rolling her eyes, kids these days were just so damn angsty and had such rotten attitudes, the little warning wasn't lost to her, but this kid really didn't know who she was dealing with, Shahal had absolutely no qualms with killing her and then resuming her normal nightly routine, "I really just don't care for anything, human, demon, hybrids, man, woman it's all the same to me," She didn't care for much except anyone that really made a good lasting impression on her and children.

"I'm the owner of this land, and my name is Shahal," Wow what a strange name, she blinked as she listened to the sounds around them her hightened sense of hearing on edge as much as she was.
"I really just don't care for anything, human, demon, hybrids, man, woman it's all the same to me," She nodded it seemed the same thing that she felt, at least they had something in common.
"I am terribly sorry if I was tresspassing I didn't know... To me it just looked like a graveyard... Oh I'm Chloe by the way... Nice to meet you I think." She stated as she stood before folding her arms across her chest, the dark waves were caught by the wind and they whiped around. She eyed the woman before her she was much older or seemed much older than her body portrayed but wasn't that the case for all demons and half demons? She wondered. Now still with her arms folded she decided to take her leave, maybe this was just a chance meeting. She walked back the way she'd come in.
"Guess I'll leave your property then, see ya round maybe." She stated as she decided maybe she shouldn't tell this woman more than she needed to know, besides her nightmares were very strange even though she knew what they seemed to tell her. It was simple she had to find one side or the other to stand on. Especially in this time.

Shahal simply waved off the apology, "No need to apologize dear, most people don't know I own the place. I simply lurk around like this to make sure brats don't vandalize the place. After all it is rude to disturb the dead," Of course she would think that, having been a grim reaper for a good few hundreds of thousands of years.
"Yep, later then kid," Shahal said and began to walk off, she had gotten a none to pleasant vibe from the girl and because of that figured that Chloe was a bit more partial to the darker side of life, and Shahal didn't mean anything like a goth kids idea of a dark side. Speaking of goth kids maybe Shahal would go traumatize a few more of the kids at the club later, it was nothing short of hilarity to see the fear on their faces when they finally figured out that the things that they were told went bump in the night were real. Anyway Shahal figured that if she did see this girl again next time she might have to kill her.

Samael was almost a mile away, looking for prey through his sniper rifle just to have fun for a while. Then he noticed a certain aura similar to his, a strange combination of both an angel's and a demon's auras, he took a closer look only to find out it was a woman, and by the look of her aura pretty strong. What do you think? should we pay her a visit? he asked his hellhound telepathically, and then decided to go and check out who she was before continuing his hunt.
Once he got close enough he remembered he was still hiding his smell and aura, so he decided to reveal himself just so to talk to her. "Just stand watch here for a while will ya?" he whispered to his hellhound, then went on to enter the cemetery. "May I ask your name?" he asked from the door, making sure she could hear him.

Her ears perked at the sound of someone else speaking and she turned her attention to the newest arrival, looking him over curiously as she stepped lightly over to where he stood, Shahal couldn't help the slight curiosity that gripped her as she looked at him, he had an aura that was something like hers.
"My name's Shahal," Maybe he had heard of her, granted she wasn't a big conversation piece in heaven, they sort of tried to pretend the entire mess had never happened, "What's yours?" She was interested in the man, because of his aura she found him intriguing.

He stood there taking a closer look at the place and then turned to see her face. "You can call me Samael" He was surprised she wasn't aiming at him with a gun or something, eve the most skilled fighters needed to stay alert after all.
"Sorry for dropping by like that, I couldn't help but notice your aura, very similar to mine but still different in some aspects" He couldn't tell exactly what it was but there was something about her that he found really interesting. "I believe I've heard your name, I just can't seem to remember". He looked at her again and he began to notice certain things that would identify her as an angel, but there were so many things that could identify her an a demon also, strange combination, and that was the most interesting part.

Samael, the name sounded familiar to her, but she couldn't remember where she had first heard it or in what context, but the answer was right on the tip of her tongue which was almost maddening, and she decided that she'd muse on it later.
"Yeah, trust me I've noticed that as well," He must have been hiding his aura earlier for her to not have felt it sooner, how odd she was finding it to have something so different from others in common with this man, "You might have heard gossip then, perhaps somewhere along the context of an angel fallen from grace?" Probably before God told all the angels to never speak of her again, after all she was considered shameful to the man, as were an angels that fell out of his grace.

He was finally remembering, Shahal the fallen angel, the one who had fought and defeated Michael. "Not hard to notice is it? When two people have a similar aura they feel a certain familiarity, but with us it is more than that, that is the reason demons and half demons can smell each other. I'm sorry but I'm going to hide my aura again, not like I don't trust you but I've got my reasons". Having said that his aura suddenly disappeared and the only way to know he was there was to see, hear or touch him.
"Yeah, gossip, I guess you could call it that. A fallen angel isn't very uncommon you know, just not as recent as earlier times." He felt he didn't need to keep many secrets from her, like he could trust her even if he had only met her. "Then have you heard of the Angel of Death, he one who claims the souls of the dieing? Not a fallen angel, but one you could call missing in action. Archangel actually if it makes a difference".

She put her hands up, motioning that she didn't have a problem with him doing so, "Hey doesn't bother me any seein as how I've already felt it and all," Shahal spoke logically, it wouldn't be much of a problem with her after all. Samael spoke truth in what he said though, about familiarity, there just seemed to be something about him.
"Your kidding," Was all she managed to get out for a moment, "You, do you know how long others were lookin for ya?" Shahal asked, so this was were the other Archangel had gotten off to, the bugger, most of the other angels had been going insane wondering what had happened that he managed to fall off the radar like that.

"Well I'm glad you don't have any problem with that because it's a pretty handy ability and I'm almost always using it". He then whistled for his hellhound, not in wolf shape to come, it was safe there and not a demon could be felt in a good distance so there was no use in keeping a guard outside.
"Not kidding, I'm the real deal and I could probably show you some proof if you don't believe me". He could still take the same form as when he was an archangel, a demon form and the one he was using at the moment.
"I don't really know how long and I wouldn't care unless you also wasted your time looking for me". He had gone missing when he noticed there was something wrong with him, he wasn't like the other angels and he had gone looking for answers, not really thinking about what could have happened in heaven or anywhere else.

It was, but she really didn't care to use it or not, perhaps she was a bit over confidanet in her abilities to be able to kill pretty much anything that crossed her path, that little fact would probably be her downfall one day, but Shahal figured she'd worry about that when she got to it, that is to say if the day even came.
"No I believe you," She said truthfully watching the hellhound that came running to it's master, "That's not really something one can make up," Or would want to for that matter it was such another sort of hush hush subject.
Shahal shook her head, "I said others for a reason, he who doesn't want to be found will more then likely not be found, and I had a lot of work to do as I got piled with the extra souls when you went MIA," It wasn't something she was bitter about, Shahal was simply making a point.

He was petting his hellhound, the only living being he had called friend in a long time. "I guess I should introduce you to this little fella but I'm afraid he doesn't have a name, he never needed one since it has always been the two of us".
"I'm glad you believe me. You are the first person I've talked to in a long time, since I left actually. I guess I can call you a friend" He stopped being friendly once he left, and that was one memory he tried to bury. The demon side that was growing stronger in him made him more aggressive and less friendly everyday, until he learned to control it that is.
"Then I'm sorry for leaving you extra work with my absence. I never really thought of consequences until I sorted out my problems, then I thought it wouldn't be a good idea to go back". Not like God would accept one of his Archangels having a demonic side. "Do you mind if I ask how you came to be the fallen angel/demon mixture you are right now?"
