Name: Aria Solon (Not 'salon', so-lone)
Nickname: Edge
Age: 60 (appears to be nineteen)
Race: Vampire/cat-hybird
Gender: Female
Physical Appearance: Aria, like most vampires, is rather pale and of course she has the adittion of the crazy sharp canines. Though she tends to try and keep them hidden, most people aren't too keen to having the thought of a 'blood-sucking' vampire anywhere near them, if they're human of course. Her eyes are a deep, dark, blue; she does have slit pupils but they're rather hard to see because of her eye color. Aria's build is rather lean, standing at about 5' 8", but she still has enough muscle to put up a fair fight in hand-to-hand, though she prefers the use of weapons. Her midnight-blue (has a hint of black mixed in with it) hair is cut in a short fashion, shorter in the back with the sides reaching her shoulders. On each upper bicep on her both arms is a dark gray tatoo in the shape of two bat like wings. Her clothing tends to consist of black and white Converse Allstars as well as a pair of dark blue jeans and a random band t-shirt that she happens to listen to at the moment, as well as her black, jean jacket. Her accessories are usually black, fingerless gloves and a black choker, she does have five earings as well. Three on her right ear and two on her left.
Personality: Aria is somewhat distant, seeing as how she is a mercenary, she doesn't like to get too attatched to people...unless they're willing to risk their lives just to be friends. If they are, then good, Aria and the person would get along like best buds I'm sure. At times she can get extermely shy and be so quiet you would hardly know she was there, but that's mostly in big groups, if it was only two or three people she'd be pretty talkative, though not much. When she's agitated though, you better pray she forgot her weapons at home or somehow get her distracted because she does not like getting pissed off at all. It's like she has dual-personalities as well, one half would be her happy self while the other would be out to rip your head off. Just as long as you don't wake her up too dreadfully early, you're on good terms with her. Despite being somewhat distant, she can act rather childish at times just for her own amusement, not to mention a little bit of a ditz.
Weapons:
Raven:
A jet black, modified, 9mm. The pistol is attatched to a silver chain which is connected to her belt to make sure it isn't lost incase seh loses the black holster it's kept in. Imprinted on the side of this weapon is a light gray Raven with it's wings outstretched, underneath the raven are words that read 'A servant' in the same color as the bird on the side.
Crow:
Another modified, 9mm. Similair to Raven (even the chain attatched to Aria's belt and the holster) except that this weapon is a silvery gray color, on the side of this weapon is a jet black Crow with it's wings outstreached as if it just landed and its' head looking behind it. Underneath the picture is the words 'To your dreams' in light gray as well. Both Raven and Crow shoot modified bullets that are much larger than normal 9mm bullets.
Abilities:
Shadow Feathers:
Yes, a bit odd, feathers for having cat genes. Oh well, must have something to do with the vampire in her. Anyways, this little ability can allow her to form shadows nearby into however many birds (they appear to be Ravens) and can attack the enemy at her command and will only stop their assult at her commmand or are defeated by light. Shadows don't like light, now do they?
None, (except for that one) but the cat in her allows her to be rather flexable and stealthy. Not to mention her hearing has been heightened considerably due to it, not to mention the extra DNA allows her to go outside on perfectly clear days despite being 60% vampire. Her mercenary skills also give her a good idea of all types of crazy situations. She's also one hell of a lock-picker...and cats seem to like to follow her around if they spot her out.
History: Aria had been born to a human family, you know, the usual Mom, Dad, annoying little siblings that you want to kill so much. That type of family. Of course something that good wasn't bound to last that long, ecspecially with all the violence going on and such. But what happened wasn't exactly on the list of possible things to happen.
Vampires. That was /way/ off the list indeed. She supposed that's what they got for going out late one night to get some ice cream from the shop down the street. There had been two or three vampires and four little, unsuspecting humans. Aria had been the last one to get it, she supposed she was lucky they had gotten full on her family's blood before her because the only drained her half-way before turning heel and dissappearing into the night.
Aria had blacked out and the next thing she knew she was in a hospital, no, not a hospital, a lab with a few doctors nearby whispering amongst themselves. It took awhile for Aria to realize that something was horribly wrong because she soon noticed how sharp her eyesight was and how well she was hearing. Despite the doctor's hushed whispers, she could hear them loud and clear which freaked her out and she had known something was up. It wasn't but a few minutes later that she had been told about the little expieriment they had done on her. Adding new genes to go with her newly formed vampire self.
Somehow, they had found a way to inject certain DNA and fuse it together with another persons DNA, only the person had to be...well...not human. And low-and-behold, looks like the found out about Aria's little transformation.
She was scared out of her mind by then and when it got dark and quiet, she decided it was time for her to disappear. Somehow, she managed to sneak through the halls and wandering around for what felt like hours until she finally found the exit and disappeared into the woods nearby.
Of course they had decided to come after her, but alas, they had forgotten that thanks to her new genes, she could be near invisible in any of the shadows. Eventually after about a week or so of searching, they gave up.
With that behind her, she decided she'd be considered a freak of nature in regular society so she stayed out on her own, training and such before finally deciding she'd earn a few extra bucks by killing off the enemy of whoever in a mob or war wanted her to. Sort of like an assassin only she wasn't a secret.
It did pay a pretty penny.
Weakness: Aria isn't the strongest of most, so hand-to-hand combat would be a major weakness for her. She mostly uses her stealth and such to get out of situations that she's gotten herself into. But at times she is forced into hand-to-hand which usually earns her getting pretty badly injured or even captured...until she breaks out of course.
